Le Monferrine - Piemonte - 2008 - Barbera Grape - Italy

The winemakers of Le Monferrine have used the Barbera Grape, a classic red grape of the Piedmont's Asti area of Italy to produce a ripe, fruity, medium bodied wine. This example is said to be at its best with pasta dishes.

Best served at room temperature or slightly chilled.

We enjoyed our bottle of Le Monferrine - Piemonte - 2008 - Barbera on a late October afternoon as a pre-dinner drink.
